NBC’s ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ is bringing back 13 players who were fired from previous contests including one winner for the first-ever ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’.
In announcing the 14 contenders for the new season which begins shooting for a March 2013 premiere, Donald Trump, the show’s host, said, “We wouldn’t have done the ‘All-Star’ concept unless we were able to get the right contestants back. They’re all very smart, and I think they learned a lot from their last go-around. This time, some of them will change their game to fool their rivals — some for better, some for worse.”
The 14 contestants for this series are Brande Roderick, Lisa Rinna, Omarosa, Claudia Jordan, La Toya Jackson, Marilu Henner, Dee Snider, Dennis Rodman, Lil Jon, Penn Jillette, Gary Busey, Stephen Baldwin, Trace Adkins and the winner of ‘The Apprentice’ in 2010, Bret Michaels.
When asked about whether or not he had favorites, Trump said that he did, as just like any other human, he has his likes and dislikes but that would not determine who got fired or not, even if someone he did not like did not deserve to be fired.
He also goes on to say that over these 12 years, the unpredictability as to who will win has been the only thing that has remained constant and admits that, while real estate is his business, being the host of a TV show such as ‘The Apprentice’ is lucrative and a lot of fun.
The winner of the 13th season of the first-ever ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ will win an amount of $250000 to donate to his or her favorite charity.
