Sharon Corr just released her second solo album – an artist known for being a part of The Corrs that sold almost 45 million albums and toured worldwide.
Despite her hectic schedule, she has been known to be generous with her time, especially when it comes to supporting causes that have been close to her heart.
In an interview, and speaking of her North American tour, Sharon said, “The tour has been so great. It’s been a wonderful experience; great audiences, great response. I’ve loved every minute, actually. I enjoy touring the states because each place is so different than the next. It’s like going to different countries with these individual states.”
To say the least, her second album titled “The Same Sun” seems to have a stronger organic feel to it than her first album, “Dream of You”. This natural feel that the songs in the album offer is evident as she continue to tour.
In fact, when performing at a concert in Atlanta, Sharon played a song that she wrote earlier in the day which was titled “Take Our Time”.
She also goes on to say in the interview that most songs that are released today are a finished polished product that are in fact overproduced. Her opinion is that a song in its rawest form is amazing to her and which was why she played that new song during the concert.
Even though it was an experience where she felt vulnerable, it is that experience that she liked and which is what the music is al about.
It is for that reason, Take our time, has been a regular song played at her concerts going forward.
